Business Angels Romania wishes to increase awareness and promote business angels investments as a proper option for business start-ups. The community is a source of information and expertise that helps investors and entrepreneurs understand the market with its new developments, trends, and eases up the access to relevant sources of funding.
Business Angels Romania is an EBAN (The European Trade Association for Business Angels, Seed Funds and Early Stage Market Players) member, which has at the moment 141 members in 41 countries. The organization is international and nonprofit and gathers member organizations and individuals from Europe and beyond. EBAN is investing approximately 5.1 billion Euros a year and comprising 260.000 angel investors. Through business angel networks, 2900 companies were funded and 17800 jobs were created (2012).
